Hello, Hello,

Victory! Success!

At 3:39 A.M. this morning, April 23rd, I proudly observed from the Assembly's gallery the affirmative vote for the Raw Milk Bill (SB-434), allowing farmers to sell raw milk directly to us consumers; proving we do make a difference.

This issue is one of our campaign planks and success is nearly present. It's a victory for Wisconsin's dairy farmers. It's a victory for our small businesses. It's a victory for Wisconsin. It's a victory for bipartisan democracy. This proves that we Wisconsinites are demanding healthier food and direct connections with our farmers.

The raw milk bill needs Governor Jim Doyle's signature to become law, so please tell him of your support.

Thank you to Wisconsin farmers and consumers who brought this issue to our attention and to our campaign workers who got the word out. Our raw milk YouTube video had an impact. Our YouTube videos are at www.youtube.com/timjohnforgovernor. Send them to your family and friends!

Now on to other important issues. We support the Regional Transit Authority Bill (AB-282). Also, we want increased focus on renewable energy, which our great senator and governor, Gaylord Nelson, founder of Earth Day, would have hoped for. Earth Day celebrations continue this weekend. Please participate in clean-ups throughout the state. We can make difference as individuals!

Join me on Monday, April 26th on Wisconsin Public Radio when I'll be interviewed from 7:30-8:00 a.m.  Call in with your comments and questions.

In the meantime, enjoy our great spring weather.

Please contribute to our campaign by check or through our website.

Let's send Wisconsin rocketing towards greatness.

Hello Fellow Wisconsinites,

Our campaign is striking out in a new direction, as we take a strong stand for marriage fairness. Wisconsin will be a place where a man can marry a woman or a man; a place where a woman can marry a man or a woman. Fair is fair. Hiding is no longer an option for us politicians. We must stand tall and proud.

We continue to bring people to our campaign who haven't been a part of the decision-making process. Black men are poised to make a strong statement about their inclusion in our great state. Black men will determine our next governor. Guys, get ready to lead us to the next elevated level.

Farmers and health-food consumers are excited that raw milk sales will soon be legal. The process needs improvement but we are happy that farmers can re-enter a system to help sustain their livelihood.

No doubt my great grandfather and founder of the Miller Brewing Company, Fred Miller, drank lots of raw milk, likely giving him the health and energy to accomplish so much in his life.

Let's send Wisconsin rocketing towards greatness.

Hello In April,

As the Tim John For Governor Campaign marched out of last month and into the current rainy one, our expectations rose for a successful September primary. Our burgeoning number of fervent supporters won't stand for more “business as usual” in Wisconsin.

This last election showed that we politicians must find new ways to solve our difficult problems. Our campaign is the answer.

The Tim John For Governor Campaign looks for long-term meaningful change, even though our depressed economy often draws our attention to short-term solutions. My great grandfather, Fred Miller, the founder of the Miller Brewing Company, now MillerCoors, always used long-term solutions. He never cheapened his beer for more profits. I don't do that either at my company.

Long-term vision keeps MillerCoors successful and is what will put us in the State House.

We stand with unemployed black men and legally sold raw milk, two issues that represent fairness and freedom. Unemployed black men belong in our state's economy, while farmers and consumers should have the perpetual freedom to sell and drink raw milk.

Last week I spent time with Bobbie, a black landscape company owner, who for 4 decades has given jobs to numerous black men, who at day's end return home proud, tired, and valued. Let's find new ways to return black men to a position of esteem in their neighborhood. Their kids deserve that much.

Yesterday, I attended an international symposium on raw milk in Madison. Besides drinking some of the healthful liquid, I learned that our entire food chain needs a tighter connection between the farmer and the consumer.

As our campaign moves towards September, we need more dollars to spread our message. Please give my campaign some money to change Wisconsin.

It doesn't take much. If you can contribute $25, I'll take it. Of course, if you can contribute $200, I'll take that. You can contribute by check or through our website at www.timjohnforgovernor.com that is loaded with videos, photos, and great information.
