Tim John's “I Love Wisconsin” campaign moved forward along the border of the Mississippi River on May 10th. He met with engaging farmers in Grant County, each who had enlightened ideas on how our state can move forward in a progressive direction. Conversations with directors and curators at Wisconsin's wonderful historic sites of Stonefield, outside of Cassville and Villa Louis in Prairie du Chien remind us of how rich our Wisconsin heritage is and how essential it remains to study our past in order to build a better future. Sitting on our first governor, Nelson Dewey's, front porch, we kicked off the traditional “Front Porch Campaign”, a good old fashioned way of doing politics. We can learn something from returning to what worked in the past. Look for our video on front porch campaigns. Follow the “Tim John for Governor” car as it travels north along the Great Mississippi.

Tim John's “I Love Wisconsin” campaign kicked off on Mother's Day – May 9th with great success. After passing through our Capital City, he journeyed to Wisconsin's First Capital, Belmont. Along the way, Wisconsin moms enjoyed discussing issues and sharing their thoughts for a better tomorrow for their children in Mt. Horeb, Blue Mounds, Dodgeville (named for our first governor), Mineral Point (where Governor Dodge was inaugurated & known for its' lead rush beginnings and great pasties) and culminating in Belmont and Platteville. Look for sightings of the “Tim John for Governor” car in Dickeyville, Cassville, Prairie du Chien and Viroqua. We love Wisconsin!
